Brainstorming
I love running sketching workshops with my squad to generate multiple ideas and bring in diverse perspectives into problem solving. It also brings the team together
Retros
I run exercises like the “Sailboat” so the whole team can reflect on the work done. And as a team, we can come up with a plan to move forward.
Feasibility & Prioritisation
Using simple to visualise matrixes, I help the team to decide on and to prioritise work. (Below an Eisenhower Matrix for Rightmove’s Act Team Roadmap).
Empathy
Sometimes I run workshops designed to put the team on our users’ shoes. The end goal is to come up with meaningful work to do. (Below the “Urgent Important Matrix” I used to improve the information architecture)
Competitors’ inspo & user mindmaps
When engagement is low, I run brainstorming sessions with the team. I pair theses sessions with research on how competitor’s have tackled some of our users’ pains, needs, desires… Understanding these is key to out-do them.
Competitive analysis
It’s always important to understand our competitors' strengths and weaknesses in comparison to our own so we can out-do them.
Product One-Pagers
Creating a shared understanding between the key stakeholders. (Below a One Pager exploring what a exclusive partnership between TFL and Rightmove could look like).
Word generator
I run this exercise to learn what stakeholders think or feel about a topic or theme. And act upon the recurrent patterns.
